Sidebar > Sales > Credit Notes
Quick answerThese are the fastest verified steps for this task in the current Proplix build.

Exact steps

  1. Go to Sidebar > Sales > Expenses when you need to add or review expenses.
  2. Create a new expense from the expenses page and assign the correct category, amount and linked details.
  3. Go to Sidebar > Sales > Credit Notes when you need to issue or manage a credit note.
  4. Use the refund-related fields carefully so the financial record matches the actual business action taken.
  5. Review categories and financial settings if the correct classification is missing.

What this feature does

  • Expenses support import, copy, convert-to-invoice and category management.
  • Expense attachments can be added and deleted from the verified controller.
  • Credit notes support refunds, applied credits, mark-open and mark-void actions.
  • Credit notes can be created from invoices and sent by email.
  • Both expenses and credit notes support PDF output.

What to do next

  • Run expense and income comparison reports from Company & Utilities after recording costs.
  • If a billing correction affects an invoice, re-check the invoice after applying or deleting credits.
