How-to guide

Proposals

The audited proposal controller supports more than drafting. It includes templates, notes, comments, acceptance-info clearing, PDF generation, email sending, pipeline handling and conversion to both invoices and estimates.

Where to click

Use these menu paths first, then complete the action from the screen you open.

Sidebar > Sales > Proposals
Quick answerThese are the fastest verified steps for this task in the current Proplix build.

Exact steps

  1. Go to Sidebar > Sales > Proposals.
  2. Use the main page action to create a new proposal.
  3. Complete the proposal content, customer details and any related commercial terms, then save or send it.
  4. Use proposal comments and acceptance status to track what happens after sending.
  5. Where relevant, continue from the accepted proposal into the next commercial or operational workflow.

What this feature does

  • Proposal list, table and pipeline views are all part of the verified flow.
  • Proposals support comments, notes and saved proposal data updates.
  • Clear-acceptance and mark-action-status functions are present.
  • Conversion exists to both estimate and invoice depending on the next commercial step.
  • PDF, copy and send-to-email actions are part of the normal proposal workflow.

What to do next

  • If your process is estimate-first, move next to Estimates.
  • If the proposal has already been accepted and should be billed, continue in Invoices.
