Client files, statements and vault

The client record supports more than contact fields. The current audited controller also exposes attachments, external attachments, statement generation, file visibility and a secure vault entry flow.

Use these menu paths first, then complete the action from the screen you open.

Sidebar > Customers > Client Database > open client

Exact steps

  1. Go to Sidebar > Customers > Client Database and open the customer record you want.
  2. Use the Attachments area to upload or review files linked to that customer.
  3. Use the Statement area when you need customer-side statement visibility.
  4. Use the Vault area when a secure or controlled record belongs in the customer vault workflow.
  5. Keep files attached to the correct customer record so documents remain easy to find later.

What this feature does

  • Customer attachments can be uploaded, added as external attachments or deleted.
  • Statement PDF generation and email sending are available on the client record.
  • Vault entries can be created, updated, deleted, encrypted and retrieved.
  • Proposal email links tied to a customer can be updated from the client controller.
  • Billing and shipping details can be read back from the customer helper actions.

What to do next

  • For commercial documents linked to a specific sale, continue into Estimates, Proposals or Invoices instead of storing everything only on the client.
  • For property-side documents, use the relevant Real Estate or Compliance workflow where available.
