How-to guide

Requests and applications

The Real Estate module creates a dedicated Requests & Applications menu with separate buy-request and rent-request paths. The verified controller also supports conversion of requests into contracts or invoices where appropriate.

Where to click

Use these menu paths first, then complete the action from the screen you open.

Sidebar > Requests & Applications > Buy Requests
Sidebar > Requests & Applications > Rent Requests
Quick answerThese are the fastest verified steps for this task in the current Proplix build.

Exact steps

  1. Open Sidebar > Requests & Applications > Buy Requests or Rent Requests depending on the enquiry type.
  2. Create or open the request record you need to work on.
  3. Capture the request details, linked contact information and any requirement notes.
  4. Update the request status as it progresses.
  5. Use the conversion workflow when the request should move into the next operational or commercial stage.

What this feature does

  • Buy and rent requests are separate menu items and routes.
  • Request records support data updates, estimated-duration calculation and status changes.
  • The request controller supports property lookups and request PDF generation.
  • Requests can convert into contracts and invoices through dedicated actions.
  • Request-specific tables exist for both buy and rent workflows.

What to do next

  • If the request starts earlier as a generic prospect, manage it in Leads first and move it into this workflow once it becomes property-specific.
  • If the request is already tied to a live tenancy or service issue, move into the customer or maintenance workflows instead.
