Where to start
Compliance → Core Compliance → Notification / Intimation Engine → notification log
Before you begin
Start with the existing property or case so the team keeps one connected history. Compliance View is required; changing records also needs the appropriate Edit capability.
Follow these steps
- Find the notification that was posted, using its reference and recipient.
- Copy the carrier and tracking details from the dispatch evidence.
- Save the date the item was sent and return to the log to check it.
- Keep any delivery proof with the case; a recorded sent date alone does not show that it arrived.
Check the result
A colleague can find the outcome on the same property or case and see what needs to happen next.
If something does not look right
Give the team the property or case reference and the message shown. Check the saved outcome before attempting the action again.
Fields, rules and limits
- Postal tracking requires Compliance Edit and a valid notification log. Saving the courier, tracking reference and sent date records dispatch information; it does not confirm delivery. If the workspace lacks the tracking columns, the action reports that limitation.
Questions and answers
What should I check before handing this over?
Make sure the property reference, saved outcome and next action are clear to the colleague taking over.
Should I start again if I do not see a confirmation?
Check the existing record first. It may already have saved, with only a later delivery or file-generation step still pending.
