Before you begin
An administrator must make the module available in the intended workspace and grant staff the permissions required for their duties.
Follow these steps
- Confirm Property & Compliance Management is active and compatible; Flow requires its 2.1.1-or-later interfaces.
- In the normal staff or role permissions screen, grant Property Management Flow View and the appropriate property View or View Own permission.
- Grant Edit/Manage only where the person must change Flow state.
- Grant separate Flow permissions for Zero-Chase, Client Accounting, Migration, Stakeholder Portals or AI Property Manager as needed.
- Check the matching native permissions for compliance, maintenance, landlord, tenant or finance operations.
- Sign in as the intended staff member and check both the visible tabs and a known authorised property.
Check the result
The person can see the required workspace and only the properties and functions permitted by their role.
If something does not look right
A visible menu does not guarantee permission to change a record. Check both the Flow capability and the native domain grant. An unavailable record may deliberately return a not-found page.
Questions and answers
Why can I see Flow but not Accounting?
Accounting requires the separate Flow finance permission plus native payout or invoice authority. Viewing and managing use different native permissions.
Why is a migration entity absent?
The entity list is filtered by the matching native create permission, such as property creation, compliance creation, or customer plus landlord/tenant/supplier authority.
Can I give a role access through a direct URL?
No. The controller and object checks apply after navigation as well.
