The saved enquiry is assigned to Sophie Ellis. Review its contact details, description and activity history. Keep follow up tasks and reminders with the lead. When the enquiry becomes a customer, use Convert to customer and review the contact’s access settings.
After private credential preparation, save the conversion and check the customer record. No welcome email is sent in this demonstration. The customer and its contact can now be used by the connected project and business workflows.
Where to start
Workspace → Clients & CRM → Leads → qualified lead
Before you begin
Sign in to the correct Proplix workspace with permission to use the relevant records. The walkthrough uses fictional demonstration records; choose the correct live record before making changes.
Follow these steps
- Open the qualified lead and verify its contact, company and relationship information.
- Check for an existing customer before conversion so the same relationship is not created twice.
- Use the lead’s conversion action and review the customer and contact details that will be carried forward.
- Set the appropriate account access and review the welcome and password-email options before saving the conversion.
- After conversion, reopen the customer and contact. Check their saved details and continue the relevant sales or service workflow.
Check the result
After conversion, reopen the customer and contact. Check their saved details and continue the relevant sales or service workflow.
If something does not look right
If a control or record is missing, confirm the selected workspace, record context, enabled services and your permissions. Check the saved record and its activity history before repeating an action.
Useful next steps
- Plan staff access without per-user charges
- Request a module around your workflow
- Plan a rollout your team can follow
Contact the Proplix team if you need help with your setup. Include the page or record reference and a description of the issue; leave passwords and private access tokens out of the message.
