Where to start
Admin Area → Property Management Flow → Workflow Control → Manage
Before you begin
A valid quote must be received before landlord approval can be recorded and work can progress to scheduling.
Follow these steps
- Open the allocated or awaiting-quote work order.
- Enter a non-negative quoted amount and choose Record quote.
- Check the stage is Awaiting landlord approval.
- Have the linked landlord use Quote approvals, or record the authorised decision with the staff Approve or Reject / requote action.
- After rejection, obtain a revised quote; after approval, continue to appointment or starting work.
Check the result
The saved amount, quote status, decision and workflow stage agree with the authorised decision.
If something does not look right
A quote cannot be changed freely after approval. Use the allowed stage actions. Do not record approval without the underlying landlord authorisation.
Questions and answers
What happens when the landlord rejects?
The order returns to awaiting quote with a rejected quote status.
Can a landlord approve any property?
Only an active linked landlord with the approvals policy can decide on a work order awaiting their decision.
Is a zero-value quote allowed?
The code accepts a valid non-negative amount, including zero. Confirm that accurately represents the agreed work.
